Guggulu with special reference to Analgesic Effect

Abstract:
Ayurvedic drugs containing Guggulu are predominantly used in
Vataja disorders, where pain is the foremost symptom. Hence it
was thought that Guggulu might be having analgesic effect. This
research paper deals with various experiments on 20 albino rats
to ascertain analgesic effect of Guggulu.
